Start    Warmup

7:15    We start working on Tukambe, a South African song, which may become a warmup item

14:56    Ash introduces new singers and the Chorus Committee does announcements, including rules for COVID testing for performance week - if you want to perform you MUST have a negative COVID test taken on the day of your first rehearsal.  You only need it on the first day, even if that is Wednesday, but if you don't have it, the Paramount will turn you away.  So make sure you have one available.

24:18    Work on the Canticle of Freedom

57:49    Full recording of Canticle of Freedom, to send to conductor Kyle Dickson (ends 1:04:22, followed by some discussion of specific sections)

1:13    Back from break, we had some announcements about the concert.  Ash expects to have feedback from Maestro Dickson by next Wednesday.  Tuesday rehearsal with Maestro Dickson is at the Paramount.  Check the call times for rehearsals.  Come warmed up for the concert.  Check your black attire.  Have a black binder.  Ash also explained the plans for 3 summer sing-ins, first since the pandemic.
